MH Group runs for KiKa!
What is KiKa?
Childhood cancer research
Nearly 600 children in the Netherlands get cancer every year. 81% of these children now survive the first five years after diagnosis. Partly thanks to the research that KiKa finances, about 20 years ago this was still around 72%. Clear proof that research really helps and that a 100% chance of cure is getting closer.
These studies in which KiKa invests focus on different themes. Think of better medicines, less pain during treatments, a greater chance of recovery and a higher quality of life for patients, even after treatment. They also provide information about childhood cancer. KiKa is the only charity in the Netherlands that invests in research that specifically focuses on all forms of childhood cancer.
They receive support for all this wonderful work from private donors, activists, companies and foundations.
